Support Groups

Our Support Groups are about creating opportunities for connection, learning, and community in an environment that feels safe, respectful, and inclusive. We aim to provide spaces where people can participate in ways that feel comfortable for them while building meaningful connections with others who may share similar experiences.

Our groups are facilitated using person-centred, trauma-informed, and neuroaffirming principles. We recognise that everyone communicates, socialises, and engages differently, and we strive to create environments that respect these differences rather than expecting participants to fit a particular mould.

Support Groups always have the overarching goal of:

  1. Creating spaces where you can belong - Feeling understood and accepted can be just as important as the activities themselves. Our groups prioritise psychological safety, authentic connection, and shared experiences rather than pressure to socialise or perform.

  2. Learning together - Many of our groups incorporate psychoeducation, discussion, and practical strategies that participants can apply in everyday life. We encourage curiosity, reflection, and shared learning while recognising that everyone brings valuable knowledge and experience.

  3. Letting you participate in ways that suit you - There is no expectation to communicate or participate in one particular way. We recognise different communication styles, sensory needs, and comfort levels, creating flexibility wherever possible so participants can engage in ways that feel right for them.

  4. Build confidence and community - Alongside developing new skills and knowledge, our groups provide opportunities to strengthen confidence, reduce isolation, and foster meaningful community connections that extend beyond the group itself.

Current Offerings

Autism/ADHD Burnout Recovery Program (8 weeks)

*Coming Soon*

Our Autism/ADHD Burnout Recovery Program is an eight-week psycho-educational and support group designed to help people better understand neurodivergent burnout, explore practical recovery strategies, and reconnect with what supports their wellbeing.

Each week focuses on a different topic, combining education, guided discussion, reflection, and practical tools that participants can apply in their everyday lives. Topics explore the unique experiences of neurodivergent burnout, including recognising early signs, understanding contributing factors, energy management, sensory needs, boundaries, self-advocacy, and developing sustainable approaches to reducing burnout.

Like all of our groups, the program is facilitated within a neuroaffirming, person-centred, and trauma-informed framework that values each person's unique experiences and encourages learning without judgement.

Peer Support Group

Starting August 18 - Every Tuesday 5pm - 6.15pm Online

Our Weekly Peer Support Group provides a welcoming and inclusive space for neurodivergent adults to connect with others who may share similar experiences. The group is largely unstructured, allowing conversations to develop naturally based on what participants bring each week. Whether you'd like to share your experiences, seek support, learn from others, or simply listen, you're welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

This peer facilitated group helps create a respectful and supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to engage authentically, without pressure to socialise, mask, or communicate in a particular way. The focus is on fostering connection, reducing isolation, and building a sense of community through shared understanding and mutual support.

We can explore different topics based on group interest, and you can confidentially request interest topics once you're registered with the group.

We believe community connection should be as accessible as possible. Our support groups are priced between $7.50 to $10 per session, with the exact cost depending on your funding arrangements and individual circumstances. Please see our Pricing page for more details.

If you're unsure what applies to you, we'd be happy to talk through your options. Simply get in touch, and we can help determine the most suitable funding pathway or provide a personalised quote.
